What is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)?

A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is qualified to practice psychotherapy! Those in “Qualifying” category have completed their Master’s program, and are able to practice psychotherapy under a supervisor. 


How much is it per session ?

At Sundaze Counselling we offer a FREE 15 Minute Session so that we can meet each other and get a better understand of what you have been struggling with and how my therapeutic approach will be able to help you improve your mental health. Our 50 Minute Sessions are a standard rate of $130. However we also offer sliding scale and low cost options, that can be discussed. Our 80 Minute Sessions are a standard rate of $160. What does Sliding Scale mean ?

At Sundaze Counselling we offer prices for session ranging from $130 for 50 minute sessions and $160 for 80 minute sessions. We aim to make therapy as affordable and accessible as possible, therefore we offer flexible pricing to find the price that works for each individual client. Are you covered under insurance?

Yes, we are! Although every insurance company is different, Sundaze Counselling can be covered under insurance providers. Check with your provider under the category of “Mental Health” or the like services and look for Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). 

What mental health struggles do you serve? 

At Sundaze we offer therapeutic services to a wide range of mental health struggles. We see individuals who are struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, self esteem, eating disorders, trauma, abuse, and general life stressors. However we recognizes that humans are complex and as we discover more about ourselves during the therapeutic journey, other struggles may come up.

At Sundaze Counselling we have flexible availability during days and evenings. We are available Monday- Friday 10am-8pm. Please check our current availability by clicking the “Book Now” button on our website. 

How do I book an appointment?

What is your cancellation policy ?

We understand that life happens and sometimes we have to cancel appointments. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, where it ensures that you will not be charged. After that window you will be subjected to being charged. Please let us know as soon as you cannot make an appointment. 

What population do you serve ?

At Sundaze we offer therapeutic services for Ontario residents from the age of 12+. We are a inclusive space and work with a diverse range of clients. We are a LGBTQIA2S+ and BIOPC welcoming space.

How do I pay for my appointment?

At Sundaze we have fully online payment system that accepts credit card payments. We kindly ask that our clients add a valid credit before their first full 50 or 80 minute session. We send detailed receipts after the payment is processed. If the client doesn’t add the card before the session, and the session is completed, the client has 12 hours to pay for the appointment, after which the client will be given reminders to pay. All sessions must to be paid for in full before another session can take place.
